Gabriel Widing and Nea Landin have through Nyxxx received funding from Kulturbryggan, to develop a prototype for our next piece titled The Control Game. During the process we will further explore the idea of separating the audience into two, Players and Avatars. The Players will be able to control the Avatars live by making choices on their phones. The Avatars will receive these instructions through their headphones. In this piece, the audience become actors, observers and co-choreographers all at once.
Nea Landin is a dancer and media artist. Gabriel Widing is a director and game designer. We will reside at Nyxxx studio in Bagarmossen for initial research, IAC in Malmö for recording sessions and Turteatern, Kärrtorp, to explore the realtionship between stage and audience place.
