Teaching Role-Play and Participation at Uniarts Helsinki

In this five-day course you will explore role-play and participatory art from the participants’ point of view as well as the artist’s/host’s/game master’s perspective. For two days we will engage as participants in different kinds of artistic participatory situations. During the third day we will share methods and develop new proposals for play and participation. The fourth day we will try out prototypes and practice to host and game master these kinds of situations. The fifth day is dedicated to reflections and harvesting. The course is given in English by two artists experienced in the field – Maiju Tarpila and Gabriel Widing.
